Apprentice Program

Golden Acre Farm added an apprentice program in 2014 to give members of our community an opportunity to get more involved in their food scene. Apprentices have gained skills in weeding, planting, cultivating, harvesting, and running farmer’s markets. Each week we offer an opportunity to come out to the farm to cultivate, harvest, and/or plant or to help work the farmer’s market on Sundays in exchange for a share of vegetables.
